Do you still have to have this feature? I noticed on my bill that ntl are now charging £1.50 and seeing as I don't need it as I have an answer phone, I may aswell save £18 a year.

NTL charge for it??? Jeez....

I'm with Telewest, we get 2 options, 1 is free, but that means you can't pick up your messages remotely, and you can't personalise the greeting message - and the second option you have to pay for and lets you do what you can't above...

Needless to say, we went for the free version...

Soon to be £1.75 but no, you do not have to have it and in some areas NTL offer a free Voicemail Lite.
