Enjoy yourself mate - and avoid the temptation to "just pop in and see how things are" every time you go past an internet terminal ;)

(my wife got really annoyed when I checked my work Email whilst on holiday in the US last year :naughty: )

Well I, too, am off on my hols (for the first time in about 20 years!) on Sunday.

I'm off to slightly less exotic climes (North Devon, because I'm going to learn to surf) but given the weather at the moment, it's probably a better choice :PP:

So no controversial threads until I get back as I don't want to miss out! :D

Went last year Nemmy - loved it. What part you off to ? If you're into Golf, the course there is superb too.

Have a great time.

Nemmy, Graham. Both of you have fun.

Chi: I am sure you will love Kos. I went there a couple of years ago (spent two weeks there). Just don't do what I did. My group got the the hotel about 1:30 am local time, went to the hotel bar. 8 hours later we went to bed, and I stayed in my room until the next night being violently sick regularly.

Kos is a great place to go. It has a good nightlife if you want it, and a fair amount to do in the day if you don't want a good nightlife.

Just a couple of hours to go & we will be setting off to Heathrow, ready to catch our flight, tomorrow.

As we'll be on a massive cruise liner, I'll try to get online at the onboard internet cafÃÃâ€*’© at some point, otherwise I'll 'see' you all when we get back on 30th August. :wavey:

- play nicely, now :)

Have a fun time Gaz, hope the weather is nice for you and there are no unpleasant suprises out there. You never know, the 20 mile tailback that occured this morning may have cleared by then ;)

Don't worry about the M25 Gaz, the collapsed drainage was repaired and the traffic is moving again, by tomorrow you will just have the normal M25 fun and games to deal with :)
Just for you Gaz
http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/travel/travelinfo/m25.shtml looks bad at the moment but they haven't long repaired the problem so it will take a few hours for the traffic to thin out a bit :) Bare in mind though that this section of road was already marked up for repairs so that means cones no matter what tomorrow :erm:

So that means that once the traffic has settled down a bit, it will stop, and we'll get the usual M25 car park.. :D

Well I got back this afternoon, had a great holiday. Some rain but quite a bit of sun as well.

Hello Miss :p:

done anything creative while I have been away? ;)

Not a lot.I installed XP then found I'd installed it wrong so I had to reformat and reinstall it.Lost some art work because the back up disc turned out to be duff. :bigcry:

In the meantime due to XP I've been busy trying to get hardware installed. So far the tally is a new CDRW and tomorrow a new dial up modem and a new 2.00 USB.

The only creativity this week has been my use of Anglo Saxon. :D

Oh and some actual real life painting in acrylics which I'm quite pleased with because it's been years since I painted in acrylics. They have come on quite a bit as a painting medium and I'm very impressed by the quality of colours and additives.

Otherwise no.Though I have found a Photoshop action that actually draws outlines for tracing as if by magic.I love actions they can cut out hours of working things out.

Now I have a whole 37 GB's of HD space to fill up with my art work now. :tu:

Did you take any pictures of your holiday?

swoop101

Glad you found something useful.
I did take piccy's but have not checked them yet, if I find a good one or two I will post them over the weekend.

p.s. mind the language or you will have to stand in the corner with a mouth full of soap :D :disturbd:
