Page Up / Page Down / Blue should give you a screen with the remaining credit on your box.

Interesting, I've just done that and it says "credit 3200". Does this mean I have "free credit"?

Oooh! My credit says "3200" - but i've never bought a PPV thing in my life (er, unless you count frontrow) - can anyone in the know let me know what this means?

I think it's different on the Bromley boxes compared to the Langley ones.

You could try ordering some stuff and let us know what happens ;)

Don't fret. £32.00 is the default credit amount for everyone so as you purchase events you would see this amount decrease.

LOL .... I don't think all your colleagues know that Debsy. ;)

I called up CS when I saw that on my stb and said I wanted it credited to my account. This was duly done. :tu:

yay for Brighton CS dept. :D

Yep £32.00 of freeness. :D

To be fair I had had another issue that was being sorted out so maybe the cs was confuzzled. :)

Blimey - everyone gets £32 free credit? Yay for NTL for once!

lol the £32 its ammount of stuff you can order on front row before the stb has tell ntl what you've ordered and then reset the credit to £32. That why people with crap connection like my mates credit is always very low and he doesnt seem to get billed for ppv until the box decides to connect and tell ntl what hes been buying.

Its not free money lol.

Your box can only order a certain amount of films, PPV's etc. until it has to report back to Ntl. From memory this should be done each night but various things can stop this.

£30.00 being updated every couple of days should be enough for almost everyone but as has been mentioned further up the thread CS can increase this if requested.

does that mean i can order around 9 movies( £3.5 each) from front row channel free??? or totally misunderstanding.

seaneeboy

I'm afraid you are misunderstanding! If you order nine movies it forces to box to contact NTL to pass on the billing info.

If you only order 8, then it will still be passed to NTL for billing, just not straight away.

Does that make sense?

However if you get a dumb CS who sends a reset to the box when you complain that you cannot order PPV then you get the credit reset and the ordered movies deleted.
