It's difficult to say what matches will be shown where. I've got the full Sky package (wwith all 3 sports channels), and the footy is shown all over the place (altohugh Sky Sports 3 seems to get the least).

It's difficult to tie it down now ;) , seeing as they've changed the League structure (again!!!!), and increased the amount of live Premiership games that they'll be showing, but Saturday evenings used to often have a live Nationwide League at 5.30pm (ish)

Fooled me a little when I looked for the coming years fixtures.

Barclaycard sponser the Premiership

Coca Cola sponser what was the Nationwide league and it now has the 3 divisions renamed.

Division one becomes the Coca Cola Championship.
Division two becomes Coca Cola league one.
Division three becomes Coca Cola league two.

Aaah, all makes a LOT more sense.

I'm glad it does to somebody

Div 1 = The Premiership (which is okay)
Div 2 = The Championship (which sounds more prestigious than The Premiership)
Div 3 = League 1
Div 4 = League 2
Conference - well, that's probably going to be called the '*add your own sponser here* Premier Championship of Other League Teams' (can't call them non-League - it's probably defamation of character or something)

The Coca-Cola Championship? Who are they trying to kid? It'll always be the Football League, Second Division to me. Second best. Second choice. As Jim Royle might have said, 'Championship, my ar$se...'

Ok now I'm hacked off  how come the trees get three showings on Sept 26th, Oct 15th and Dec 17th when we only get two, the first of which is at home on Aug 30th against Brighton, the second when we chop the trees down to twigs and scatter em in the Trent on Dec 17th :p: I'll be at both of them. Come on Sky get your act together and give us some coverage of matches I can't get to, something like Crewe away

Best way to watch Leicester City is from space anyway. Watch a decent team like the one a few miles up the M1 FFS.

Now peeps, can we please keep the partisan slanging match to the 'Football Talk' thread: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=1842

This discussion is slipping off topic.

Please do not post insulting remarks about other members and their football teams. As I said above, we already have a topic in which you can express good natured rivalry and discuss football in general. If discussion about the specific topic of this thread turns out to have run its course, it will be closed.

And 2 points difference from 2 games makes a difference does it? You've only drawn with WHam and beaten the paper sheep ffs, don't get carried away, we've got no defenders and are still unbeaten

Still we'll see when you're bankrupted cos you can't afford Judas Williams's 18kpw wages AND the 3m fee the tribunal will charge for him. Yeah.
