Can someone recommend a good pub in the area of Crabbet Park, Sussex (Crawley). Must do good food and sell real beer!!! (not the light, cold tasteless stuff called errmmmm Lager !!!)

If I remember :erm: I'll ask a colleague at work tomorrow, he lived/worked in Crawley for a few years for Babcocks (AMEC).

Babcocks the machine tool company? I've worked on some of there kit in the past, when it broke down of course ;)

no problem - I just googled on 'pubs in crabbet park' for my link, it works for other places too ;)

<edit> I can't make it, but Covent Garden would do for me, too :)

check out the 'Lamb & Flag' in the link above, is the 'Rock Garden' still a nice place to go???

gawd... Rock Garden.. I haven't been in there for years... used to be really good, they'd have acoustic sets in the afternoon - great place to go for a beer and some music
