Hi all

Just had a phone call from my 'Mum' :)

She just brought an alarm clock which keeps going off at Midnight playing 'We wish you a merry Christmas' second night she changed the time but it still went off at 1200 GMT and last night she actually unplugged it and guess what...yes it still went off.

Any ideas..............

Thanks

Mike

First off, I would run a virus check & then Adaware :D

-sorry :), as it still went off when unplugged, is it possible there is a setting for a battery backed alarm, that is the problem? Time to read the manual methinks ;)

Seriously I would take it back to where it was purchased and tell them what was happening. Refund or replacement due to faulty product ;)

Try taking the batteries out. Cos some clocks use batteries as well as power supplies.

As the default alarm time is normally midnight it sounds like the attempted time change failed. You may have to be tactful here, but did she actually manage to change the time successfully? With most clocks it is possible to show the set alarm time by pressing some button or other.

Does it have two alarms, she's changed one and the time, but the second is WWYAMC?
