Has anyone used spywareguard (http://www.wildersecurity.net/spywareguard.html)? Is it any good and does it cause any problems?

http://www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareguard.html - missed an "S" out there!

Not used it myself, but heard reasonable reports - it doubles up on, but is reckoned to be better than the "teatimer" feature in Spybot S&D, so if using with Spybot S&D, you'd probably want to turn that feature off unless paranoid (it works in a slightly different way, but with a similar catchment)

I use it and have had no problems with it what so ever and my regular spyware scans are coming up a lot cleaner now ;)

:dunce: Whoops. I'd just copied and pasted the link from this (http://blogs.nthellworld.co.uk/dwarfinleopardskin/archives/000682.html) blog comment. I was looking at it the other day and that comment reminded me to ask.

I've got spybot, but I'm paranoid, so I'll give that a try, but without the teatimer.

Thanks for everyone's advice, I'll give it a try.

No news is good news;) Keep your definitions up to date and just let it sit there and intercept any attempts, I have spyware guard and spybot s&d installed and I have installed this too

:tu: Thanks for that. I don't use I.E. much now, but my nephew is using my computer a lot now and he only knows how to use IE (It's what he's used to at school), so it'll help block the rubbish.

Don't worry, I'll show him how to use Firefox soon enough. ;)
