Another sygate question

I have found that having switched to the pro version has given me another problem. I wonder whether anyone can throw some light on this.
When I boot up initially I cannot go on line or receive emails on my BB connection, as though the firewall has blocked everything. Even if I allow all traffic it is still blocked. However after about 3-4 minutes everything works fine, just as though someone had opened up the server, without me doing anything. The tell tale sign is the traffic icon on taskbar shows activity, then alls well. What is happening in those 4 minutes, anyone?

Check the logs between bootup and when the access is restored. Post them here to see if anything weird is happening.
Most firewalls block access until it's fully loaded, to ensure maximum protection, but 4 minutes seems a bit long. If you have any startup software that's taking a long time to load up, it may prevent sygate from initialising properly
