help i bought a computer mag the other day as it came with a free anti virus package ie panda i tried to install it but it came up with close outlook or you cant install it was not open so tried again from a reboot same problem now tried a free one avast and i have quite a few viri and guess what its pointing to the mag disc what do you think one of the bliters is win32kuang2.
this is the file path F:\Full\Panda\PlatISComputerShopper.exe\pavDll.dll .

I'd be surprised if a covermount had a virus, myself, they are extensively checked :)

- a copy of that file on a hard disk could be altered, though.........

hairy_mick, I would go with the avast recommendations :)

One antivirus finding a virus in another?
It used to be more common, and I thought they'd fixed it, by always encrypting the virus signatures.

It seems that Pavdll.dll is marked by several other AV's, and seems to be a known false alarm.
