I've just caught up with the NTL commitment to increase speeds at no cost:dozey:

How can I tell what speed I'm actually getting at present. For weeks now it seems to be getting consistently slower?

Has this upgrade actually taken place in the Leicester area?

TIA

this (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d.h.walker/speedtest.html)

is the easiest and quickest.

edit: bloody link would not work first time???

re edit: the speed increases are due 'late summer' whenever that is.

Thanks Swoop - I've just this minute replaced a USB connection with ethernet and things are now much faster. This test shows I'm getting what I am paying for!:)

Probably not, Im under the impression that customers will be informed when their upgrade will take place (hopefully by snail mail :D)
