The only problem I've noticed tonight is one with MSN Messenger disconnecting (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showpost.php?p=223561&postcount=17).

I haven't had any problems with any sites (well, yet....)

I've just tried a few US sites, & had no problems at all.

What sites are you having problems with?

Have you tried specifying a proxy server (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=8783)?

Tried proxys - no change there

http://www.aximsite.com
http://www.activewin.com (loading very slow now instead of dead, and no it's not the site)
http://www.pocketgear.com
http://www.macsurfer.com

Some sites are starting to load, but are really really slow, all .co.uk or general UK sites are fine and fast - once i'm reconnected to MSN Messenger all these sites will load fine.

What proxies did you try?

I've just tried all 4 of those links - with & without a proxy specified:

No proxy specified - the only one which would load for me was www.pocketgear.com

Proxy specified (I used cache3-brnt.server.ntli.net btw) - all load up quickly, apart from www.aximsite.com (which did load eventually).

As for MSN Messenger, I set that to use a proxy and it still wouldn't log in.

EDIT: Are there any NTL people out there who know of any Cambridge problems?

Had dreadful problems last night - got so fed up with the connection in neighboring Bedfordshire that I had an early night instead!

Problems from 8pm onwards last night. Tried with no proxy, tried with a few of the Northampton proxies (which I normally use as they are faster than Luton's) and could only make it to a few sites, and even then it was intermittent.

Thought it might be a problem with the laptop, so tried the desktop too, same problems.

As normal, absolutely no information on the server status pages or 0800 status line.

Quickly checked before work this morning, and it seems OK, still a little slow, but at least it's working. Guess we will see this evening.

Anyone else in Beds with same issues last night?
