i've got a asus g4 ti4200 with multiple outputs on the card (1vga, 1dvi with vga adaptor, and the s-video tv out) and want to use all 3 at the same time. Unfortunately according to asus:
Dear Customer,
Thanks for choosing ASUS tek.

Sorry, according to nVidia's nView spec, max two display device can be used at the same time. It is impossible to use TV out if you have
already use 2 monitors.

Best Regards,
ASUS Customer Service Center Shanghai.

is there anyway to use 2 vga cards in my machine so that i can output my movies to tv whilst leaving both my monitors running?

Find an old PCI VGA card and plug that in. The second VGA display will feel quite slow though..

Actually I am not sure where you would find an old PCI vga card now..

You could spend a huge amount of money and get something like a Matrox Parhelia with 3 x RGB outs. Alternatively do what scastle said, you can get PCI vga cards (I think) from Ebuyer still (or if your motherboard has vga onboard, you "might" be able to use that)

www.ultramon.com

A site where there are loads of multi display users.

Might give you a better chance of achieving what you want.
