Just a heads up.......

Our bill for May - June services has come through. I have a line item for Premiership Plus with the billing date 17 May - 16 June. By ntl's own admission PremiershipPlus has finished therefore should not be charging. I know that to me as an individual it is £1.00 but how many PremPlus subscribers to ntl have ?????? A nice little bonus me thinks......

Will be talking to ntl this evening to claim me pound back.......

I thought the deal with The Prem Plus on Ntl was that ya paid a £1 a month for every month of the year so £12 a year... which either way is a killing on the price Sky charges for it,

I asked them about this last year when the same thing happened. It's £1 per month that has any PP game on i.e. August to May, which makes £10 per year.

But Pieman's month included part of May - were their any games after 16th May? So you could end up paying £11 per year.

The charges would not have been on before the season started.

Overall there would be 10 charges of £1.00 for the season. The charges at the beginning and end of the season might be pro-rated.

Fair points however - my bill clearly states May 17 - June 16 - PremiershipPlus does not exist - therefore I am paying for something I cannot receive......

Pieman, I am with you on this one, I too received my bill on saturday, lo and behold £1 charge for something I am not getting, unless you class a blank screen as chargeable? but then again, even some of their channels have a reminder thing on, "you are not subscribed to this channel, call 09........"
Perhaps a joint action by the two of us against NTL for our £1's back is in order?
With the threat of chargiong interest on monies held by NTL?

You'll get the money back on your next bill I'm sure

If you check your bills back you will see overall a charge of £10 for the season.

I see the new season is £50 for the 50 matches, that's quite a hike from a tenner for 40 matches last season! I believe the sky price is £75? Still relatively cheap I suppose. Much more difficult to watch than last season for people who attend matches though, many of the matches are immediately before and after the traditional Saturday 3pm kick off.

How are NTL charging the £50 monthly or £1 per game?

it appears to be season ticket style...

Is the £50 an official ntl announcement?

£5.00 a month spread over the 10 months of the season.

After it's put on you are locked into paying it for the full season.

So if we don't want it we have to cancel now? I bet they **** it up and if you cancel they'll still charge for it and then you're locked in?

Anyone know if we had it last season do we have to tewll them we don't want it renewed or is it the other way round and we have to say we want it for it to appear?
