I came across this (http://www.broadbandmap.co.uk/cablefran.htm) site, and was amazed to see that NTL only cover a small amount of the UK.

Is C&W now part of the NTL group ?

Or does anyone know if this site is way behind the times ?

Yes that site is correct, but you also have to include the areas covered by C&W. So when you look at the blue and the yellow shading for NTL & C&W, it's significantly more than that of say, Telewest, which in comparison only offer services to a small portion of the UK.

Perhaps this (http://www.nthellworld.com/images/ntl_bband_cov.gif) makes it a bit more clearer.
