Jungle Storm problem

Can connect to public games from all round the world no problem, and so can my mate down the road. However, when we try to create a room for the 2 of us to play against the computer, it says "cannot connect to the server, so cannot connect to game". We've both tried creating rooms etc but to no avail. I'm on a router and he's using ICS. Heeelp!

Ah of course. I had to set up my router so that the PS2 used "DMZ". This enables the ps2 to connect with no problems for many games on the ps2 apparently. If anyone has the same problem I can help them through it :)
