Not sure if this is in the right forum, but this guy has spent a serious amount of money to get Flight Sim 98 running...

His site is at http://members.chello.nl/~s.ferris/

And the picture of the setup is below

but that aint all on one pc - but yes some serious set up, he probably started when flight sim 98 came out and now he might have to do it all over again for flight sim 2003!

3 big plasma screens would have been much better :)

We used to have a projector and large screen in a conference room at work. It was very cool playing motoracer on that ;)

Wouldn't flying lessons be cheaper ?

No need for heating in his house.

For that matter, there is no need for heating in the rest of the street..

Not if he wanted to pilot all these planes:

DreamFleet Archer
Dreamfleet 737
Baron 58
Cessna
747
Mooney
777

That's a lot more in flying-lesson money than what he's setup. Besides the instructors are gonna think he's 09/11 version 2.0 if he doesn't work for an airline or own/time-share a plane.

Not really that funny. However I know there a patch for Flight Simulator 2003 to include the Twin Towers.

The biggest is in our bedroom, but the missus will never have it :(

Have to settle for the spare room instead

Isn't that it?

Not sure. Looks like the Chrysler building nearby so it would be Midtown not downtown though.

If that were it, M$ came up a little short on including all the other nearby buildings (not to mention the geographical blooper of the Chrysler building being so close to a twin tower).
