Has anyone played this, is it worth participating in the open beta?

The graphics look ok to me it seems that it lacks variety.

Apparently walking characters give the impression of having a stick up their ass.
been playing for a few months now ..somehow got into an early NA beta (no idea)
plays ok ..not sure of the end game but me and a buddy been roaming around as orks and elfs ..its very japanese its fun but not sure about long term appeal..open beta started last sunday i think .its agig d/l go for it u get a free month if u buy it after and u keep ur dudes ..

Well I downloaded it and installed the client, slap wrist for going over 1gb cap (but it was overnight ;) ). But they seem to be slow on sending out open beta serial numbers - I ordered it yesterday.

I don't suppose you have a spare serial key, it still hasn't come and this 2.5 gig of game is buring a hole in my hard drive.
Sorry to bring up an really old thread, thought it would be better then making my own, im currently playing L2, have been for very long time :S
