Phantom call?

Earlier today I was waiting in the local shopping centre to meet my wife after her gym session. She was late so I checked my phone and found a missed call notification from 10 mins ago identified as coming from her mobile. I called her straight back but got no answer so eventually gave up waiting and headed back home. Quite by chance I met her on the way only to find out that she'd left her phone at home and hadn't called me at all. My call to her was recorded on her call log but no outgoing call was shown. I'm sure there's a non-paranormal explanation for this so could someone explain before I'm forced to consult a psychic to find out what's going on?....

Both me and my partned have mobiles with Virgins. Sometimes if I text her she gets half the message and the remaining part of the message could be a text I sent her weeks, months or even a couple of years ago!!

Try the community forum as it has a Virgin Mobile section where actual Virgin Mobile agents frequent, if anyone can tell you it will be them.
