Tethering

Whats the crack with Virgin and tethering please?

Despite my best efforts, I can find no mention of it on VMs site and precious little about it here either.

I read that they charge through the nose for it and then that they don't charge at all. I phoned customer services and they told me tethering data was just taken from my internet allowance, and after trying it, it did seem to be the case but I'm not convinced.

Anyone got the definitive answer.

Cheers

Re: Tethering

Many thanks for the reply, it's good to know. It certainly looks like theres no charge unless I exceed my data allowance.

Re: Tethering

Yes theres no restriction on tethering as long as its within your set limit. Tethering works fine for Android and BB.
