Suddenly in Blackspot area?

Had my 2-year contract mobile over 10 months and signal in house never issue.
3-4 weeks ago suddenly "limited service" and unable to pick up any networks, use purely for 2G services, been through all manual selections, new SIM and new Handset but still unable to make or receive any calls.
Read on CF issues around T-Mob/Orange and checked the coverage for my postcode today which tells me I am in a very good signal area.
Called VM Mobile again today to be told I am in a "blackspot" I have used the mobile every day prior to this with no problems, it is unreasonable of me to request cancelling the contract as I feel VM are not fulfilling their end by changing the service in my area or at least stating on the website that I have "Very good coverage -2G" which has been the case up until 4 weeks ago.
Anyone had similair issues.
By the way a "Manager" calling me back at 6pm to discuss, any advice.
