You download it to the phone not to a computer.

You just get chompsms (like all other android apps) from Android Market on your smartphone (preferably over a wifi link).

Re: How do I turn off predictive text on my HTC Desire?

Dude, you have been told a few times. You don't need a pc to install apps, use the android Market app on the phone to get the app and it installs straight to the phone.

Also as well as turning off prediction you should turn off auto correct. I leave that on though as it means I make less mistakes ;-)

You could also ask these questions in the same thread instead of starting new ones all the time.

Re: How do I turn off predictive text on my HTC Desire?

You must not have done it right then as there are separate options for the qwerty and phone keypad and compact qwerty.

For qwerty there is prediction and spell correction you can tick or untick.

For phone keypad and compact qwerty underneath the above options there is spell correction and word completion you need to uncheck if you are using that option.

Re: How do I turn off predictive text on my HTC Desire?

Imo the qwerty keypad is better anyway for use on a smart phone.
