VM BB Coverage

HI,

WHO ACTUALLY PROVIDES THE NETWORK COVERAGE FOR vm.

i should get good covergae according to the vm site but the mob show SOS almost every where indoors.

i would like to check the foot pring of the provider before asking for a sim change

it will also depend on how good your mobile at receiving a signal.

You could try doing a soft reset of the handset as that seems to clear the SOS off of the handset. What you need to do is remove the battery and sim card for a minute but remove the battery while the handset is still on.

Just re-read your post and in regards to the coverage checker it is on the street and it does not cover in the house and this is applicable on all networks.

Check out the attached link to find where your local base station is.

Be aware that although T Mobile have merged with Orange Virgin still only have access to the T Mobile network. Virgin haven't yet said when or even if their customers will be able to take advantage of the better coverage offered by the new network although I've seen a few posts across different forums suggesting some sales staff are saying it will become a reality.

Anyone from VM care to comment?
