can any one think of or know of a reason for the Galaxy S accessing the internet every 10 mins ??

Syncing your facebook,twitter,news apps well any app that requires an update for the internet.

got facebook and tritter set for once a day and email every hour

none.. was only gmail and email ..

email was set to sync every hour and well gmail doesn its own thing, have since disabled this and the background syncing aswell but still the same
