Purely for comparison's sake: giffgaff (a virtual mobile provider using O2's network)

8p per minute to other networks
4p per text
0800 numbers Free

(and free mobile internet until the end of June)

Same as Tesco Mobile Lite (also uses O2) and Asda (Vodafone)

0800 numbers are not free on these, but then giffgaff sting you on the 0845 and 0870 numbers that are classed as standard calls on the above.

More like the Asda Mobile plan.

However free minutes to Giff Gaff phones, who do you know on Giff Gaff? I know 6 people on Virgin, so if I was on Pay As You Go I would take up this offer.

0845 now cost 40p per minute from Virgin
