Hi all,
I recently took out the £10 for 300mins deal and received my SIM card the other day. When I put it in an old mobile phone "Virgin" was displayed - but in a new phone it is "T Mobile".
I know that Virgin are basically using the T Mobile service, but I won't get billed under some roaming rate type mistake will I? Anyone else have this trouble?
Services: 2 for £20 (Broadband Size: M and Phone Size: M), Free TV Size: M and fries!

Re: Carrier???
Depending on the phone, the name of the network is either read from the SIM or is looked up in an internal list based on the netwok ID being broadcast. Some some phones will display Virgin from the SIM, others will look up on their list based on the network ID and will display T-Mobile, One-2-One, etc. based on how old the phone is.
This will not affect the calls you make or prices of them, however, so no need to worry.
