SKY+HD box tuner question.

Is there any situation where I can actually record 2 shows on SKY at the same time?

Say I'm watching SKY1, can I record the programme I'm watching whilst recording something that's on say SKY Sports at the exact same time? Alternatively if the box is on standby, and isn't being used at all, can the box record 2 channels at the same time?

The box must have 2 tuners, but can it only record one thing at a time? Can I watch a previously recorded programme or Anytime+ whilst recording 2 programmes?

Re: SKY+HD box tuner question.

Sky is record two as long as you are either watching one of them or watching a recorded 3rd programme (either scheduled or preselected Anytime)

Not sure if Anytime+ needs a tuner or not

Sky Anytime+ Demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk6O4...e_gdata_player

Sky+HD Guide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmTNF...e_gdata_player

Anytime+ doesn't need a tuner so you can still record two and use Anytime+.

Re: SKY+HD box tuner question.

if you want to record 2 channels at the same time while watching another, then virgin media tivo and v+ is your only choice
