Angry Sky hd box cable fault

Hi

had our new sky hd box fitted yesterday...at first all ok...then there was a buzzing sound and flickering in the picture!!!

When we move the cable this is when the buzzing occurs and the flickering on the tv......engineer ran the hd cable from our new dish, the sky cable however runs to a communal dish...do you forsee any issues using 2 dishes or should the engineer have run all cables from ur new dish and disconnected from the communal?

Re: Sky hd box cable fault

you should have set it up with the new dish seems strange he installed a dish then used only 1 cable it(lazy I guess)

The problems I foresee is if you do nto have permission for the dish your madlord coul ddemand you remove it unless there are others with their own?

Re: Sky hd box cable fault

Thanks....

Our sky was running from a communal shared dish.

Engineer took off our old dish and fitted a new, he however only ran the hd cable from the new dish, the rest still runs from the communal dish, others have their own dishes...but are we now receiving from both dishes

engineer coming tomorrow to fix!!
