Saw this on another site... Made me laugh
"You've got to feel sorry for liverpool: the only two occasions this season that Inzaghi was onside, it was against them."

yes i have to agree about from a free kick, which I don't think was really a free kick, and one bit where they got behind the liverpool back four AC didn't do much.. Liverpool didn't do much more but were still the better side
not a great performance from either side and i'm sure if Liverpool played more to their normal style and got at them some more they could have won easy

We weren't outclassed, we were beaten by a deflected free kick.

I thought inzagi's timed run and the pass leading to the 2nd goal was class.

You were beaten because your forwards are poor, posing very little direct goal threat until the last five minutes.

mind you the same could have been said of AC Milan
both teams seemed to cancel each other out and no one really ran at the opponents defence which I think if Liverpoool did theycould have won easy
Liverpool were the better side and had more of the play but neither side actually created many chances

As a matter of fact, a recent survey of season ticket holders found that as a percentage, Man United had more members from within the Manchester post code area than did Man City.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
well i have to say I am one of the Man U fans from out of Manchester, but when i drive up there on a sat I pass just as many liverpool fans on the way to Anfield as i do Man U fans
also Arsenal and Chelsea and thousands of fans that all come up through kent and live no where near Arsenal or Chelsea either
