Re: Euro 2012

Re: Euro 2012
Well, we're going home, and by the looks of it without scoring a single goal.

Re: Euro 2012
My humble opinion dan is their system is all wrong and the Dutch should go back to their old flexible system of total football.

Re: Euro 2012
Shocking defending. Van Marwijk might as well take both full-backs off and go 3-5-2 or 3-4-3, Keep sitting back and let the Germans hit the flanks and that's what happens. Van der Wiel is woeful and that poor Willems lad looks out of his depth.

Thing is, this team and style isn't that different from the team that reached the WC final.
But I agree they need to stop faffing about and be more positive.

Re: Euro 2012
And thats why his days in the job are numbered as Cruyff and the other famous Dutch players will tear into him in the coming days and weeks thus making his position untenable.

Re: Euro 2012
Well, at least we showed up in the second half. We're not out of it, but I'm not sure we have much business being in this tournament. Ah Well.

I know this isn't news, but Bastian Schweinsteiger is some player, he was excellent tonight.

Re: Euro 2012
Poor show yet again on the commentary situation tonight. Can't believe the BBC are still paying Lawro to sit there making worthless, snidey comments for 90 minutes. Bad enough having to listen to Jonathan Pearce even if he was on his bill.

He's like Wogan used to be on eurovision, without any of the charm or charisma, worst one imo is their radio presenter Alan Greene, what a tool he is

Re: Euro 2012
Alan Green needs to be put out to grass. Only worry is that there might not be enough grass to fill his gargantuan cakehole
