Not really imo ,if it happened in any league in this country it would be assault and the police would be involved .The first kick he was maybe justified but after the fan was on the ground he had no justification for kicking him again ....and again

In wrestling we have an unwritten rule which says if someone (other than the ref, ring announcer or other performer) gets in the ring uninvited then they take whatever kicking they get (usually by the 'bad guy', naturally). I have no real issue with that. The goalie could say he initially struck the guy as he thought he was under attack, I'd say that's reasonable but as soon as he hit the ground there was no need to carry on kicking him.
