Farewell Steve

Can I bid a fond farewell to Steve Thompson, England hooker. who has had to retire for the second time in his career with neck injury (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugb...n/16018570.stm ). Despite a successful return to international rugby following a serious neck injury he has suffered the same fate again and this time it's final. Steve has always played the game with 100% commitment and I, for one, would like to express my thanks for all that he has done for english rugby over the years and hope that he will be able to stay in the game in some capacity as we can ill-afford to lose someone with his experience and true love of the game.

Good luck Steve in whatever you do next - I'm sure you'll be successful.
