West Ham fans do seem to favour the younger, more dynamic manager. But that's probably why they haven't really had any success since Harry left. Avram Grant could reverse that.

To be fair we never really had any success when Harry was there either. Imo the reason for our recent struggles is due to falling into the trap of sacking managers far to quickly or appointing the wrong men in the first palce, in 105 years we had 8 managers, in the last 9 years we have had 4 soon to be 5.
