Re: Superleague Franchise (22nd July)

They'll definitely let Toulouse in, to expand more into France and probably Celtic Crusaders, to expand into Wales.

Re: Superleague Franchise (22nd July)

Well, my guess is that another French team wont get in this time because Sky Sports don't have the TV rights to show games in France. I'm guessing all current Superleague teams will get a licence, so that only lets two other team in. These other two teams will be either Widnes, Salford or if they are lucky Celtic.

I think it will be Widnes and Salford. Interesting times for Super League

Re: Superleague Franchise (22nd July)

I think they would like to have Cetlic and Toulouse in it but i don't think they are up to scratch with the criteria that they assess the teams on. It will probably the 12 current super league teams and Salford and Widnes. Whether it will work or not is intresting, they've done the same thing with the Australian league and it's seems to have worked well, so i think it stands a good chance of doing so.
