The Euro 2008 thread
Ok, none of the home nations are in it
Regardless, unless you're into the Olympics (or cycling), it's the main sporting event this summer, and it kicks off in slightly over 2 weeks.
What (if any) team will you support? Or will you just not bother as none of the home teams are in it?
I'm supporting Holland (as usual) but have planned for several changes of underwear as we face France, Italy and Romania in the group phase.

Re: The Euro 2008 thread
I'm going for a team that looks fantastic on paper but always underachieves in competitions so I'll feel right at home.
Spain for me..

Re: The Euro 2008 thread
I'm going for Italy, only because some of my family are from there, not because of the style of football they play. I will also be hoping Portugal do well.

Its sad that footy supporters here will have to adopt a team for the Euros lol. I will be supporting Portugal for very same reason... lots of family in Portugal, as wel as being born Portuguese.
