a good workout for kahn

tonights fight for amir kahn was a long overdue test for his skills and strenght he done well,though not a great fan of his i have to concede that he done well over 12 rounds against a hard wee opponent,i would still like to see him take on a good mexican though.

That win over the distance is what he needed, he has trained for 15 rounds in the gymn but that's not the same as in the ring with a good fighter and a large audience, i think he's ready to go for a major title now.

I only dipped in to the fight but he certainly looked on his game.. You could see he was tired but it was a good win

I think they will slaughter him. I remember watching Sugar Ray Leonard fight at Kahns weight now he was a fighter and half. Remember Floyd Mayweather has fought and won titles at this weight he will destroy Kahn if ever that comes off(although Mayweather is havign a long break in the hope someone comes along who can challenge him)

have to agree with you zing,that is the acid test remember naz [ another lemon ] plus the media hypes kahn and others like him out of all proportion.

Its Khan LOL.

But come on guys credit where credits due, he pulled off 12 rounds in a great fashion, st claire may be well due for retirement but he is/was a world class fighter and a solid test for khan.

fair enough,but he still has to be tested frank warrens bum of the month does nothing for the public and certainly does nothing for the fighter other than giving false impressions of himself as to how good he is,i hope im wrong about kahn but somehow i dont think so.

After the fight last night Frank Warren said Khans either going to America or fighting for a title in his next fight.
