Look everyone in order to get the most successful, talented winners out there you have to pay the going rate... everyone knows that by now surely!!!

Does anyone seriously think we'd have been able to secure the almost limitless talents of Steve McLaren - the world renowned footballing guru - without paying the market price?? Apparently clubs were queueing up as far afield as Scunthorpe and Accrington to secure his services when the FA managed to strike that magnificant deal on behalf of the nation... and if it hadn't been for him where on earth would England be now ?? ........









(probably in Euro 2008 that's where!!!)
