Something's wrong - TBR hasn't shown up
Cracking goal from Rio - almost makes me want to exercise my English half

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
Cracking performance tonight
I have to say that (and I'm echoing the Beeb here), if it wasn't for Owen scoring two, I honestly believe that Barry would have got Man of the Match. A Villa player

I still reckon he will lose his place to Fat Frank next time though, McClaren wont have the balls to keep him in the side and drop Lampard

Which is a crying shame, becuase he's done really well
Still, at least if he's in the squad, he might get on as a sub when they realise that, for whatever reason, Gerrard and Lampard seem to cancel each other out...

Estonia at home next, I can't see him being dropped. Personally, I'd stick with a winning team, let the prima donna's sit on the bench.

If it wasn't for the fact I was drunk beyond belief I'd agree with you about the dreaming bit.
Top of the group with three games to go. If you'd have said that when the 'group of death' was drawn I'd of offered a kidney and most of my liver to be in this position.

How are your liver and kidneys this morning, then?

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
I noticed the ex Arsenal thug, Vierra is still trying to maim United players, took Darren Fletcher out of the game with a nasty, gouging tackle.

Re: Football : Season 2007/2008
i was at the game last night. Despite Euro 2008 being sponsored by a brewery it the stadium was dry under UEFA rules, even though we still had the Carlsberg advertising.
Was a good win but still didn't think we was brilliant. We was very narrow at times and followed the ball for too much.
Wright-Philips wasn't great but at least we weren't at our best and still got a win something that we haven't done in recent times.
Also how to prem players cope when they are on international duty. The official beer of the Premier League is Budweiser and the Official beer of England is Carlsberg Plus say Villa have an official beer that isn't any of them two what happens then ?
