Netgear MR81V2 Problems with NTL

Hi

I have followed the instructions in the manual and I connected my router to set up the connection to my NTL modem from my NETGEAR router. I have installed everything correctly..

With the ethernet cable I connected two cables, one to my PC and to the router and another from my router to my Modem. It got to the routerlogin page on my browser and then it just stopped and timed out (I tried it on all 3 browsers)...

I then used my Netgear MA111 wireless adapter to try and substitute the ethernet connection to my PC from the router but this did excactly the same.

Basically its getting so far on the welcome screen and then it just times out.

Can you help me?

Modem to WAN port, PC to a LAN,
make sure in Internet Explorer, tools, internet options, connections, lan settings, that you are not specifying a proxy
then power everything down including the modem, power up the modem, wait for lights to lock, power up router, wait for lights to settle/ lock, power up pc and try again.

There are no proxy settings so I will power everything down.

Fingers crossed.
