Re: Problems with my BEFSR 41 Router

My Linksys router frequently drops the connection too. I sometimes fix it with a reboot of the router, but sometimes I have to restart the modem as well. It can be fine for days or it starts doing it every couple of hours.

Switched on SACM, waited for all the lights to come on, then put switched on the Router, waited for the Internet green light to go solid green, then I switched on the PC.

Maybe this is where I been going wrong, I did not know that this how you switch everything on in a logical sequence. I will try it later and see. Thanks for your help guys, really appreciated.
glad you got it sorted, thanks for the feedback

Re: Problems with my BEFSR 41 Router

I have the same problem with my Linksys BEFSR41 v3 running v1.05.00 fw.

Internet can be fine for days on end, then just drop. I usually just hit the main power on the wall outlet off for 30 secs, turn it all back on, wait another 30 seconds for all the lights on the modem and router to steady. Job done...!!! Works fine after that.

Bloody annoying having to do that thou........
