Broadband on the move

Hi i was wondering if someone could help me.I have wireless broadband with ntl,i was wondering if their is any way i could recieve my broadband if i took my laptop to my mothers house for a couple of hours.I am sorry i am new to all this wireless stuff so am not very clued up,many thanks in advance.

I believe that Vodaphone do a PCCARD that receives Internet faster that dialup. (not sure how fast it goes. will look thou
