Change router login

Just like to ask a quick question.

Currently my router login is 192.168.0.1

I have just aquired a Netgear wndr3400 and in the manual it says the login is 192.168.1.1

The question, once I have connected the new router and logged into it, can I change the login to 192.168.0.1 and then change the ip range to 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.200

The reason is because I have my all-in-one fax printer and nas drive set with a static ip address each over the 200 range and I don't want to have to set them up again.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Change router login

I have a Netgear FVG318 and just had a quick look at my setup.

Under LAN settings, you can change the default LAN IP address no problem.

Set a wired PC to 192.168.1.x and login to your new router and change the LAN IP to 192.168.0.1 and save and reboot the router. Remember you won't be able to connect again until your change the PC back to 192.168.0.x

OR

Set the PC to DHCP and change the router as above. Reboot both router and PC and all should be OK.
