Best Software to Hide Ip when abroad?

Hi all im due to travel and work in Saudi Arabia next week for 2 weeks, and while im there id like to be able to access BBC iplayer and VM player, but due to ip issues it wont work,

Can anyone recommend any good ip hiding/ proxy programs?

These sites are expecting to see a UK based IP, and possibly in the case of VM player a VM IP. Hiding the place you are connecting from is not the issue.

The only way I can see you getting round this is to do some sort of VPN into a UK server and then connect via that VPN back out to the net. If you could VPN to your home broadband, so much the better - perhaps your router might support such a function?

I believe http://tvcatchup.com/ might work overseas and it shows all freeview channels.

I did use some S/W (can't remember what it was called) to watch US only based programmes and streamed them live to my PC without any lag.

You would probably get away with using a UK based proxy server
