Cisco, junos & screenos

Start my new job in 12 days time. I've ordered the cisco and junos for dummies books to start learning. Can anyone point me to any other decent beginners reading material. I have a good knowledge of networks in general.

Also, any free online router sims knocking about ??

Thanks in advance

I've a book called "Cisco A Beginners Guide" by Velte and Velte published by Osborne. That's pretty good.

Samm's "Teach yourself TCPIP in 24 hours" is a good and useful read.

Re: Cisco, junos & screenos

Google "olive" for running juniper junos on a pc - example http://juniper.cluepon.net/index.php/Olive

Google PEMU for a pix emulator. Think PEMU / QUEM does routers as well.
