wreless connection via tv for internet connection

can someone give me a dummies guide to get wireless connection from my my PC to my TV Sony Bravia inorder i can access internet on TV if possible.

I've not looked, but I would expect there to be something on Youtube. They have short videos on there about absolutely everything technical

I think they need to get a life!!

I bought a cheap router (Edimax BR-6574N BR-6574N at c £30) and use it as a wireless Universal Repeater connecting to my main router wirelessly; this has the advantage that I then have 4 LAN ports, one to the Sony TV, one to the Blu Ray player and two spares so I can plug my laptop in if required or just use it as an access point.
