I have Devolo Orange (2) 85mbps and Powerline (2) 85 mbps homeplugs, but I can't connect them together, only the same brand plugs will work together. Anyone know how I can make them all work?
I have tried changing the password, but they still won't work.
Devices marked with the HomePlug certification mark (IEEE 1901 powerline standard) should interoperate with each other.
Other, mainly older products will not due to non standardisation on this technology.
The new IEEE 1901 powerline standard is due to be taken up by all manufacturers going forward so problems like this should not happen in the future.
