Re: Help
Ask the 'gaming site' to unban your ip, unless you were a bit naughty on the site in which case I don't think anyone should assist you in a ban evasion if you don't already know how to.

Re: Help
As the information is already in the public domain and easily available via a simple site search I see no reason as to why you shouldn't know that by changing the MAC of the router the IP should change..
We've given this info out many times to tohers banned on certain sites

Re: Help
Seeing as kymmy has said its ok to offer help to members banned on other sites I would also add the op should run a thorough clean up before trying to access the site with a new ip

Re: Help
I said the technique was already in the public domain or are people now being judgemental as to who to help and who not to help .. Also the fact that someone is banned on another site and the reasons behind should really be nothing to do with this site IMHO
Please note that I wasn't speaking as a MOD and other mods/admins may decide to still moderate this thread

Re: Help
lol kymmy you are funny
I know you spent a lot of time in other countries so I will just point out to you that the word We've means We have. Now the fact you use the word we that by definition includes you so although you seem to think I am twisting your words I am actually using my native tongue which is English. If you do not fully understand this language then I understand your frustration
Posting this to you as the member who posted previously not you the mod

do you have a spare lan card
take your ethernet cable out and put it in new lan socket
reboot modem
your new lan will have a different mac address
and it will give you a new ip

You mean Ethernet or LAN(Local Area Network), not "lang"

Re: Help
As the OP states modem+ ROUTER I don't think a LAN card would have any effect on the WAN address
