Learning about networks

Does anyone know a good place to start if I wanna start reading up on networks and how all the techy stuff works

I would suggest starting with Network+ then moving onto Cisco courses (CCENT / CCNA).

There are a wealth of different courses available on Springboard.

If you fancy doing Comptia Network+ course then would say get the learnkey Cd's and just watch the video's, very interesting and informative they cost £140 for the set. Yes you do get a goofy American (Mike Meyers AKA Alphageek) talking you through it all but he is the best at explaining stuff in a way you can relate to.
