Re: uninstall wireless router

There's usually a reset button you press with a pen, or paperclip for 10-20 seconds to return the hardware to it's original factory setting.

no, unless you put software there that is, i know alot of routers come with software but its mostly best not to use the software and use the web config

So if there is any software you put there just ignore it

To be honest then, seems its a wireless router it should have one, the IP address is most likely 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1 (ive never used a belkin)

Try all these or look in your Instruction Manual for the IP address and User Name and password

Re: uninstall wireless router

If it's any help the Belkin I used to have had a default IP of 192.168.1.2 with the username of admin and a blank password

Remember to change the IP address in your PC/laptop to the 192.168.1.X range. (one of the errors I constantly repeat!!!)

Re: uninstall wireless router

One thing to watch for is that normally the web interface is disabled for wireless access by default, make sure you use a wired connection at first.

Re: uninstall wireless router

It is an old 11mbs (b) router that is about 6 years old so Belkin may well have changed what they're using meantime.

It's still working fine.
