Not sure what you mean. How do you connect to the internet at the moment?

Airport Express lets you connect laptops wirelessly with your modem and then from there onto the internet., so you have to have an ethernet connection to the internet already.

If you are thinking of connecting wirelessly direct to the internet you will probably have to sign up with an ISP who provides a wireless internet service in your area.

Re: Internet Through AirPort Express?

If you already have a wireless router you can get your Airport express to connect to that wirelessly and then feed that internet connection to a computer connected to the ethernet port.
I used to do this with an old imac that could not connect wirelessly.

Yes you can do this but make sure you have the airport express set to NOT distribute ip's as this will be done by your router. I used the same set up for a while.
