there should be a manual come with it gives you an ip address for the router and a username and password (192.168.*.* format ip) enter this into a web browser and log into router then simply search through the settings till you find wireless and security and select wpa and apply a password.then simply connect using any wireless devices using password you chose

well got start then run and type cmd then ok
type in the black box ipconfig /all and hit enter
the gateway ip is the router so open ie and type this address
I think the user is admin and password is admin on actiontec but ive only had a dsl one
then just look around it should be obvious
